Who is Eligible to Borrow Materials from the Lending Library?

ODU students and graduates who participated in the Ed+gineering project or local in-service teachers who are currently working with ODU students or who have attended the summer workshop are eligible to request materials.

To check-out materials, please submit this request form. We suggest listing two possible dates to increase the chance of availability.

Location of Lending Library?

Resources are stored on the 2nd and 3rd floors in the Education building (4301 Hampton Blvd) and in most cases, should be borrowed and returned to this location. In some cases, Dr. Kidd is willing to allow pick-up and delivery from her home in Norfolk. These arrangements must be made with her via email (jkidd@odu.edu).

At the Time of Returning

As the “price” for borrowing Ed+gineering resources, we ask that, upon return, you provide a one-paragraph summary of your lesson/activity and 1-2 pictures of the children engaged in the activity. You can either use a picture that does not include faces or let us know whether or not we have permission to share the picture. Please indicate that you agree to this “price.”
